Recommended Steam Deck settings:

∙ Troubleshooting any game startup issues:  Uninstall game, reinstall, hold power button down to force shutdown of Steam Deck at end of game download (if necessary; skip if unnecessary), power on again, go to game settings → Properties → Installed files → Verify integrity of game files, allow it to reacquire missing files, and start game.

∙ We released a major update that vastly improved the game loader on 8/14/25, but which required starting a new game save for any game saves made before that date.
