Composed within a 48-hour game jam, this soundtrack is a sonic reflection of loneliness, disorientation, and fading identity. Built around ambient textures, subtle piano, and fragmented melodic lines, it captures the emotional contrast between warmth and uncertainty - between a life once full and a present slipping into silence.
Created for the narrative adventure Don't Let Me Fade, the music supports the jam's theme “A World Without Time”, interpreted as a metaphor for Alzheimer’s. As the protagonist - an elderly man - wanders through a dissolving world of memories and fragmented realities, the soundtrack follows his emotional state: moments of clarity dissolve into confusion, joy echoes through loss, and time stretches and contracts like fading memories.
Each note is designed to feel fragile, like something half-remembered - a lullaby from childhood, a voice from the past, or the soft ticking of a clock that's stopped.
