Ever wished you could actually walk around in your favorite VR worlds? With VRTI (VR Treadmill Interface), your real-life steps become in-game movement. Connect your Bluetooth-enabled treadmill, fire up your favorite game, and start walking for real.
Whether you're exploring VRChat with friends, trekking through vast open worlds, or just looking for a way to make exercise more fun, VRTI bridges the gap between your treadmill and your games.
VRTI translates the speed of your treadmill directly into in-game movement. Walk slowly to take in the scenery, or pick up the pace to keep up with friends. Your in-game speed matches your real pace, making movement feel natural and intuitive.
Works with VRChat — Walk alongside your friends in VRChat with native OSC support. Control your treadmill and walking speed directly from your avatar's action menu using the included VRChat avatar prefab.
Works with other games too — While VRTI is designed to work with VRChat, VRTI can emulate an Xbox controller, letting you walk in virtually any game that supports controller input, VR or otherwise.
No need to take off your headset to adjust your treadmill. Start, stop, and change your speed right from VRTI's interface or through customizable SteamVR controller bindings. Press a button on your controller to speed up and catch a friend, or slow down to enjoy the view.
Yaw Lock keeps you walking in a straight line even when you turn your head to look around, so you can take in the sights without veering off course.
VRTI keeps track of your walking sessions, recording your distance, steps, and active time. Review your progress over weeks and months to see how far you've come.
Sync your sessions to Strava to keep all your fitness data in one place, and set milestone notifications to celebrate when you hit your next distance or step goal.
VRTI works with a growing list of Bluetooth-enabled treadmills, including various KingSmith WalkingPad models and most treadmills that support the FTMS (Fitness Machine Service) Bluetooth protocol. Chances are, if your treadmill has Bluetooth control through an app, it may work with VRTI.
