GUTTERBORN

Set during a brutal war between the Priests of Atlas and the Bastard King, you play as

a peasant serving a nobleman. When your master refuses to surrender his resources to the

Priests' knights, they slaughter everyone in the manor. You narrowly escape into the sewers,

where you must battle your way through horrific monsters lurking in the depths. Upon making it

out, you cross paths with the Bastard King himself. He reveals a shocking truth: he was once a

lowly peasant just like you who escaped the Priests. He exposes the "holy" Priests of Atlas as a

corrupt, evil syndicate involved in drugs and other atrocities, explaining that his entire war is a

crusade for vengeance to stop the abuses they inflicted upon him and the innocent people of the

realm.
