In this story-driven Trade-RPG, you play a young merchant setting out to prove a curse wrong.

Born into one of the realm’s prominent merchant families, the protagonist is believed to be doomed to fail in trade. Her curse is strange and deeply inconvenient: she can never supply the exact item a customer asks for.

But desire is rarely simple.

Behind every request lies a deeper need, and if you can uncover it, you may still make the sale.

Armed with wit, intuition, and a caravan of unusual goods, you travel across five regions of a medieval-fantasy world, meeting customers, gathering information, and turning impossible requests into clever deals.

There is no combat. Every sale, be it simple buy and sell, special orders that will take you down a rabbit hole or two, or a trade of favours or information, is the challenge.

You can’t sell customers exactly what they ask for. But you can give them something better. Deduce the problem behind the request and present creative alternatives to close the deal.

Learn what people truly want. Develop skills, recruit companions with unique skills to your retinue, and collect rumours and insights that help you understand the needs behind each request.

Journey between five distinct regions as a travelling merchant. Markets, rumours, and opportunities change from place to place, and choosing where to go next can shape your entire career.

Rise to the Top

Build your reputation through successful trades, special orders, favours, and information exchanges. Wade through rival merchants, shifting market trends, and powerful connections as you climb the mercantile ladder.

The game unfolds over five in-game years, with semi-random trade opportunities; meaning no two playthroughs reveal the world in quite the same way. Choose a defining trait at the start of your journey, develop unique skills, assemble a capable retinue, and discover different paths to success.
