Start with a single hex grid and a handful of words. Discover new words across tiered categories, drag them into position, and form chains between generator pairs. As your income grows, expand your grid's radius, add more generator pairs, and unlock new grids through exploration.

Modify Everything

Attach word modifiers to amplify scoring on specific words. Drop tile modifiers like Splitters, Magnets, and Relays onto the grid itself to reshape how chains route and score. Paint dividers across edges to partition your grid and force chains through higher-value paths.

Go Deeper

Place Fabs to generate essence from active chains, then build Refiners to convert essence into scrap. Open ports on the outer ring of your grid to launch ships into the exploration layer. Discover and mine resource sites, fight through encounters, and upgrade your fleet's range, power, and arsenal.

Test your assosciations in a deck-based minigame. Draw a hand of words, place them on the board board, and score based on their pairwise similarity. Climb through hundreds of stages with escalating targets, boss rounds, and Poet effects that reward specific patterns and linguistic properties.

When you've pushed your run far enough, distill your progress into axioms and reset. Spend axioms across five upgrade branches to carry words forward, start stronger, and unlock permanent bonuses. Chase achievements across vocabulary, chains, economy, expansion, and mastery milestones.
