⚙️This title is a purely text-driven resource management game. Progression is turn-based, advancing week by week, and contains no action, construction, or real-time gameplay elements.
The core gameplay loop revolves around reading text and making branching choices. By selecting different decision options within pop-up event windows, you will unlock new pools of narrative events, ultimately driving the progression of the worldlines and the final outcome of the story.
📜A cataclysm of unknown origin destroyed civilization, turning the Earth into a boundless ocean. On the sole remaining continent, survivors struggle to exist in the ruins of cities.
This is a resolutely materialistic world, where technology once led humanity to abandon their faith in deities. Struck by the dual blow of spiritual depletion and the withering of the World Tree, the Pantheon fell into a deep slumber due to the exhaustion of Faithstrands, and you are among them.
Ten years after the apocalypse, a girl makes a desperate plea as her younger sister lies dying. By chanting your name, she reignites your Primal Consciousness. The game begins here.
In your weakened state, your power is not infinite. You awaken only once a week, and every moment you remain conscious consumes the Faithstrands that sustain your Primal Consciousness. Should they reach zero, you will return to an endless silence.
1. Respond to Prayers:
Mortals who learn of your existence may pray to you. Prayers manifest as motes of light. You can choose to ignore them or offer verbal guidance without cost, or you can expend Faithstrands to point the way or perform miracles. Your choices directly affect their Faith Value towards you.
2. Scrying and Intel:
Mortals who pray to you form a connection with you. Each week, you can expend Faithstrands to Scry into their lives. If you uncover crucial intelligence, you can respond to related prayers at zero cost.
3. Tributes:
When a mortal's Faith Value reaches a certain threshold, they become your believer. You can then expend a small amount of Faithstrands to instruct them to offer Tributes to acquire more Faithstrands. The Faithstrands required vary by mortal, as do their subsequent actions and the yield of your tributes. You may only instruct 3 believers to offer tributes per week.
Exhaustion and Joy: Excessive demands will cause mortals to fall into "Exhaustion," halting your gains; however, if a mortal is in a state of "Joy," the yield of their tributes is multiplied.
Zealots: When a mortal becomes a Zealot, instructing them to offer tributes no longer consumes your precious 3 weekly slots.
Opportunities to exert your power directly upon the material realm are exceedingly rare; mostly, the world moves to its own rhythm. Yet, your subtle, indirect interventions are enough to cause profound ripples, capable of altering the destiny of this entire continent.
1. Guiding Mortals:
Listening and responding to prayers is the most direct way to influence their hearts. Furthermore, while scrying, you may catch them wavering at a difficult crossroads. You can subtly sway their decisions. Your guidance will not always succeed; it depends on their Faith Value towards you.
2. The Ring of Duality:
Every answer and guidance you provide is silently recorded within The Ring of Duality. Good or evil, the choice is yours. When entities equal to your existence awaken, the silent Ring will reveal its true meaning.
3. Spirit Walk:
The cosmos and all of nature have always lain hidden deep within your Primal Consciousness — in your weakened state, is there truly a boundary between you and the omniscient ancient rulers? In moments of revelation, the once-unhindered wisdom and laws grant you the chance to touch them again. When the Crimson Star aligns, you can choose a Believer to undertake a Spirit Walk on your behalf, bringing back ancient tomes, bizarre artifacts, withered roots of the World Tree, and the Divine Laws you already possessed but had forgotten.
4. Reviving the World Tree:
The withering of the World Tree is the primary reason for the Pantheon's silence. By obtaining its roots, you gain the chance to restore it. Sometimes, your actions will resonate with the World Tree's attributes — Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Void. Your divine resonance with these natural forces will spur the growth of corresponding branches. When all five branches flourish once more, it will be the day the Pantheon fully awakens.
The trajectory of fate is not singular. Every piece you play on the board leads to a drastically different conclusion.
1. Mortal Incarnation:
Is it truly a joy to be a god? Upon recalling all Divine Laws, you reclaim your complete qualification as a deity. Yet at this very moment, you also gain the power to discard your godhood — choosing to be reborn as a mortal and begin an entirely new life.
2. Echoes of the World Tree:
What ending will the fully revived World Tree bring you? It depends entirely on your myriad choices and alignments made over the long years.
3. Kingship and Symbiosis:
The survivors on this continent are not mere tools for you to extract Faithstrands; they have their own minds, choices, and destinies. Through their eyes, you will dive deeper into this world, uncovering the truth and mysteries behind the apocalypse. When the time is right, you can silently support one of them to become the new King and unify the continent. Of course, those ambitious souls might not fail even without your blessing—but by then, the new King's attitude toward you will become unpredictable.
4. The Celestial Ladder:
Is becoming a deity the absolute apex of this world? Once all stringent conditions are met, the ladder to higher dimensions will reveal itself before you.
