Impossible Machine is a point-and-click adventure game featuring 3D characters on 2D backgrounds, where exploration, dialogue, and experimentation are key to progress.
It all begins when your protagonist receives an unexpected letter. In it, they are entrusted with a mission: to travel, investigate, and clear the name of their uncle, whose reputation has become entangled with strange events…
As you progress, you become involved with a community that also needs help. Solving their problems not only brings you closer to the truth, but also uncovers new areas and mechanisms within the world.
Explore interconnected environments, interact with characters who provide helpful information that may be completely useless, and collect objects that can be combined in unconventional ways.
You can tackle multiple tasks at once, switching between objectives, trying out ideas, and discovering how the world's systems interact. Some combinations make sense. Others not so much. And some work better than expected.
Non-linear progression
Tackle different tasks in parallel and progress at your own pace.
2.5D aesthetic
3D characters integrated into pre-rendered 2D backgrounds for a classic style with its own identity.
Challenges that blend logic with trial and error
No minigames, no combat
Just problems, objects, and questionable decisions.
Hints… if you ask for them
If you get stuck, the game can give you a hand. Or several. Not always as helpful as you'd hope.
