Synapses Invasion is an action game that changes the Roguelite rules. You embody Clémence, ArmaturaCorp’s only heiress. The mega corporation ArmaturaCorp stands as a powerful and dominant force in the field of AI, having just unveiled the world’s first fully operational robotic battle armor.

Just as ArmaturaCorp was preparing to begin testing the armor, something went terribly wrong. A bizarre and terrifying event unfolded. Monstrous creatures overran the facility-chief among them a colossal entity, its jagged teeth scraping against the windows, large enough to swallow the entire building whole. Was it devouring the structure itself? Or was it somehow warping the rooms beyond recognition?

Nothing obeyed the laws of our world anymore. Reality itself seemed to be unraveling.

— What the hell is happening here?! I need to get into that armor… now. —

Are you used to Roguelites in which you’re building up your character through the run? Forget your habits! Here, you won’t become stronger during a run. On the contrary! Gear up from the start, then bring back stuff to improve your equipment capacity to make stronger builds at every run. But be careful—anything you collect only counts if you make it back to the lab. If your armor is destroyed, you lose it all.

Will you dare to go further, risking everything you’ve gathered in pursuit of greater rewards and access to deeper floors? Or will you retreat to the laboratory, secure your gains, and return stronger on your next run?

With a core gameplay focused on the action and dynamics combats, the task ahead will be tough! But you can count on over 200 different chips to equip at your armor, allowing very various builds and more or less happy synergies. In addition to chips, single-use FastCards and blessings from unknown entities will enhance your abilities and make every run unique.

— But where do these chip designs come from? So far, only one has been designed for the armor. And they even look like toys… —

Your main goal is to leave the building. You will have to find the keys to the elevator that allows access to the different floors from the laboratory, until you reach an exit. Every floor will bring its own environment, enemies and bosses but also secrets to find in order to unlock new chips and learn more about what’s going on here. In addition, a karma system will impact enemies, loots as much as your own build. So be careful !
