GUNDIG is a fast-paced mining roguelite where you blast through fully destructible alien worlds, fight off waves of enemies, and stack game-breaking items. Think Terraria's caves meet Risk of Rain's run progression, with twin-stick shooter controls.
Your gun is your pickaxe. Blast through terrain to mine for gold, dig toward your next objective, or carve an escape route when things get hairy. Enemies spawn as you dig, so you're always juggling combat and exploration at the same time.
Scattered throughout each world are chests, shrines, and dispensers packed with upgrades. Make your bombs sticky, turn into an indestructible wrecking ball when you dash, cause gold ore to explode when broken, or replace your shotgun with a potato launcher. Each class has over 50 unique upgrade items and tons of absurd builds to experiment with.
Each of the 4 playable characters brings a unique gun and movement ability to the fight. You'll also find upgrade items specific to each character that play upon their unique abilities. Swap characters and pets back on your ship between runs and watch your crew grow as you unlock new content.
Work through 5 increasingly hostile alien worlds, each with its own set of missions. Survive long enough to unlock the next planet, or take on optional challenges like defeating secret bosses or reaching extreme depths. Unlock dozens of pets and artifacts that show up on your ship as your collection grows.
We plan for artifacts to be powerful modifiers that alter the rules of a run. Crank up the difficulty, limit the item pool, turn off gravity, or generate a world filled with TnT.
