Somewhere on Magman's island, past everything he built to stop you, there's a GOLDEN MAGNET. It's the grand prize of tonight's episode. He's told everyone it's yours if you can reach it. He hasn't told anyone the rules.
That's where you come in. You and 2 to 9 friends get dropped onto his set, each of you holding a magnet of your own. What happens next is entirely up to you and how well you can aim.
Every player gets one supercharged magnet at the start. Point it anywhere you want: up, down, sideways, at a friend, at the sky. Pull toward what you're aiming at and you go flying toward it. Flip it and you get shoved the other way, launched off like you shouldn't be.
Magnet Islands is a special place located at wherever it is. Some islands make you work together whether you like it or not. Some puzzles that need two magnets pointed in exactly the right direction at exactly the right time or you need to throw magnetic boxes to their places. Your team gets through it or nobody does.
Other islands pit you against each other. Earlier you get to the checkpoint, more points you get. Those points decide who stands at the front when the golden magnet finally shows up. You get to keep the golden magnet after the game, and you can flex it to your friends!
Along the way, Magman throws everything he has at you. Jumpy pads that send you somewhere you didn't plan on going. Icy stretches where your feet are useless and your magnet is the only thing keeping you from sliding into something embarrassing. Axe swings, boxing gloves, floating islands that drift apart while you're mid-jump. Parkour that assumes you know what you're doing, which you probably don't.
When it's all over, whoever has the most points gets to walk away with the golden magnet. It's a real item prize you keep after the game. Magman's island has beaten most people who've tried it. Grab some friends, pick up your magnets, and find out if your team has what it takes.
