Flakeparty is a rouge like, incremental, deck building game where you scoop various types of cereals to earn points by scoring them in your spoon.
They have unique effects that combined together can reward a great deal of points. You can also collect toys, to help you gain even more points by triggering their special effects!
The game is divided into different types of rounds with a minimum threshold of points to surpass in order to win it. Each round rewards money that you can use to buy upgrades from an upgrade tree, more cereal and more toys.
If you lose the round, you lose the run!
These are not your usual cereals; they can be just about everything. They can range from your normal sugarless, depressing cereals to fruits, veggies, ingots.
Most cereals synergize together to award more points, by either adding, multiplying or transforming your cereals into better ones. Like the furnace refines ores into ingots using fuel, milk makes cheese. Cereal's effects usually rely on their positioning.
Toys are powerful items that help you get higher scores.
Synergize toys and cereals together to make a powerful build and win!
The game is composed by different types of rounds:
The normal rounds compose the main gameplay loop.
In this mode you will have to collect cereals from a bowl filled with milk with a spoon. These cereals are drawn from your box. Once collected you can rearrange them in the spoon to maximize their effects. Make enough points to beat the threshold and win the round.
Shop "rounds" allow you to shop for unique cereals, bags containing multiple cereals, toys and tweezers used to remove unwanted cereals from your box.
Minigame rounds are random game modes that change the game extensively
Boss rounds apply significant effects to "normal rounds" to make them harder to beat.
The upgrade tree contains both generic, unique or repeatable upgrades like more money awarded, more points and more specialized branches for a specific cereal theme. Want to make a build around farm themed cereals? They have their own upgrade tree.
