Long ago, in a world of fantasy, a powerful force of darkness began to rise. A ruthless ruler seized the Crystal of Darkness, gaining unimaginable power and forming his own army, the Imperials. With this strength, he seeks to plunge the world into ruin by unleashing the Fog of Darkness, a force capable of consuming everything in its path.

The ancient Heroes of Light once stood against him… and failed.

Now, with the world on the brink of collapse, the light calls out once more: choosing four new champions to take their place.

Emily, Lancer, Leon, and Rem are drawn together by fate, though each of them is burdened by their own struggles and past. Reluctant or not, they must rise to face a destiny far greater than themselves.

To stand against the Dark Lord and his Imperials, they must seek out the four sacred crystals: Earth, Flame, Water, and Light. Before darkness claims them first.
