
Logical puzzle game where you are playing as a minor spirit Noxia that must avoid any light in order to survive, while it is imprisoned in the dimension of small, magic cemetery parts. To escape, spirit is using its will to rotate the islands and as a consequence, change shadow positions and avoid a burning touch of light's rays.
Rotate Shadows - all shadows are rotated by 90 degrees, creating completly new paths which will lead you to escapade from the Death's realm.
Shadow Clone - create clone of you who will activate things for you while you're exploring other paths, granting you also possibility to change position with your clone at any given time
Dynamic Shadows - there will be many moving bells, carts or other cementry elements that will add little dexterity checks. Same with with stationary or dynamic lights in more complex levels.
6 Unique Enemies - from simple patrols to dynamic light givers and enemies that will erase shadows completly.
More little mechnics - deeper into the game there will be more and more complexity which will finalize with the riddle battle versus the Death itself.
Game will feature 3 different biomes in fantasy setting inspired by burial tradition across the whole world. We made sure to respect all cultures even if we only built onto them to reach our vision of fantasy Death's realm.
Each biome will introduce:
20 levels
new mechanics
2 unique enemies
and will present whole new atmosphere
Through the escape you will experience lore behind Noxia's state. Also each level will have optional, harder to obtain collectables which will unlock additional lore bits to get a clearer view on the background of our heroes.
