Idyll

Idyll is a 3D voxel fantasy colony sim. Start each journey with a fresh group of settlers with randomized stats and skills, or hand-pick the team you want. Explore a procedurally generated world filled with lakes, rivers, mountains, valleys, and a wide range of biomes. Build your colony block by block on desert dunes, in dense jungle, or carve into the base of a mountain and channel your inner dwarf.

Colonists & progression

Each colonist has a classic RPG-style stat sheet and levels up simply by doing their job. Every stat matters:

• A strong colonist swings weapons harder and carries heavier loads while hauling.

• A charismatic colonist gets better deals when trading and negotiating.

Over time, your settlers grow from fragile newcomers into specialists who can mine faster, craft better gear, and survive harsher threats.

Combat

Defend your colony from monsters and raids by other factions. Equip your colonists with different weapons and armor, build traps and funnels, and design kill boxes to turn the terrain to your advantage.

Give each colonist a basic Combat Profile to control how they behave under fire, or create custom profiles for more control. Decide who holds the line, who stays behind cover, who focuses on ranged enemies, and who rushes in.

Difficulty & world type

Idyll’s world reacts to how you play. Different world types change how dangerous the wilderness feels and how quickly threats escalate. Wicked creatures and evil beings are always looking for ways to plunge the world into chaos — if left unchecked, the world itself may shift into a darker, more hostile state.

Multiplayer

Play solo, or with up to three friends, for a 4-player multiplayer experience. Share a single colony or found multiple colonies and factions in the same world. Coordinate defenses, trade resources, and work together to lead your people to prosperity — or watch your plans fall apart when the world pushes back.
