COGNITION TEST is a first-person psychological horror experience in which you sit across a desk from a silent figure and complete a routine cognitive assessment form.
Fill in the blanks. Don't look up.
You have been given a form. The figure across from you is waiting. The muzak is playing. Everything is fine.
Gameplay
Cognition Test is a single-session experience lasting approximately 30–45 minutes. Gameplay consists entirely of reading questions and typing answers into a paper form — a mechanic that is familiar, mundane, and deliberately uncomfortable. There are no jump scares, no chase sequences, and no fail states in the traditional sense. What you do with the form, and how you behave while completing it, is the game.
The Room is Watching
The figure observes you throughout. How long you hesitate before answering. Whether you look away. Whether your answers are consistent. The room responds to your behaviour in ways that are subtle at first and less so later. Atmospheric degradation — visual, auditory, and environmental — accumulates across four acts as the session progresses.
Everything is fine.
