Basic Setting: Players take on the role of someone who has just moved into an old, run-down rental apartment. The apartment is dilapidated, smells musty, has creaky windows, and is dimly lit. The entire game takes place inside the apartment (the main setting), with occasional observations of the street outside through the windows. Each day, players have choices to do (rest, explore, check shadows, listen for sounds, tidy up the room, etc.), and these choices affect their sanity and the ending. Psychological Horror and Suspense Elements: Subtle anomalies exist in the room, such as shadows, faint sounds, and slightly swaying curtains. Random events occur (such as a rattling glass, knocking sounds under the floor, dream sequences, and rustling sounds in the corner). As the days progress, the player's sanity accumulates or decreases, affecting their psychological state. Players have the opportunity to discover hidden objects (such as listening devices and mysterious books), triggering hidden storylines. Some story choices depend on prerequisites, such as checking shadows or choosing a prerequisite option for the mysterious book.
