Game Type:
KORA is an interactive visual novel set in a soft sci-fi world, featuring multiple branches and multiple endings. Players take on the role of an electronic equipment repair worker in B City, a city now governed by an AI system. Through reading the story and making key choices, players will gradually uncover the truth behind KORA, the underground organization Error 404, and the protagonist’s mysterious mentor.
Game Background:
On June 23, 2078, Country A officially enacted the Intelligent Collaborative Governance Act, marking a historic transfer of urban administration to the AI core system known as KORA. B City was selected as the first full-scale pilot city. From that moment on, the pulse of the entire city came under AI control.
You are an electronic equipment repair worker, living a relatively easy life under the “protection” of your mysterious and cunning mentor, who is rumored to have made her fortune through grey-area dealings.
One month after KORA went online, your usually cautious and low-profile mentor unexpectedly lands a major job: repairing KORA’s cooling system. As her driver and assistant, you accompany her to the site, only to get into a car accident just before arrival.
When you open your eyes again, you have become a hostage of Error 404, an underground organization recently active in B City. And KORA, the AI that controls the entire city, is somehow present inside their underground warehouse.
What is Error 404’s true purpose? How did your mentor become involved? And how will you survive?
