We Die Below is a brutal co-op dungeon crawler for 1–4 players. Select your class, manage your kit, and descend into shifting hellscapes where the environment is as hostile as the things living in it. Every objective is a gamble, and the exit is never a given.
The deeper you go, the more the world reacts. Enemies become faster and more aggressive the longer you linger, turning your extraction into a desperate gauntlet. In these depths, the most dangerous moment of the mission is often the walk back to the door.
Survival earns you more than just a reprieve; it unlocks the tools you need to go deeper next time.
Modular Progression: Unlock new gear and abilities to solve specific tactical problems.
Adapt or Die: Experiment with varied loadouts to counter new threats, or specialize in a "signature build" and see how much punishment it can actually take.
No Fixed Meta: Shifting mission parameters mean the strategy that worked last time might get you killed this time.
Whether you’re anchoring the frontline, managing crowd density, or capitalizing on high-value targets, every role is a load-bearing pillar of the team. When your coordination clicks, you’re a force of nature. When one person overextends, the whole run can collapse in seconds.
Procedurally generated environments offer more than just different layouts; they force you to change how you move. One run might be a calculated hunt; the next might be a frantic scramble through a layout that feels designed to trap you.
Every mission is a series of "stay or go" decisions. Push further for better loot and risk losing everything, or extract early and live to upgrade another day. The world will eventually find a way to break your winning streak—the only question is how much you’ll claw out of the dirt before it does.
