SEED is a persistent, player-driven MMO that simulates humanity in a world that never sleeps.
Welcome to Avesta, a planet where humanity has a second chance to define its future. Every character, known as a Seedling, is a bio-engineered human who works, sleeps, and socializes based on their own schedule. Seedlings coexist autonomously in the same shared, persistent world, working together and forming lasting connections, even while you’re offline.
Built by former EVE Online developers, the planet of Avesta is truly persistent, evolving over time based on the decisions of the Seedlings and you, their beloved Cultivators.
In SEED, survival is a collaborative effort: if you don’t produce food, others don't eat; if others don't build shelter, you have nowhere to stay. Because the simulation runs around the clock, the stakes are high; failure to maintain your community’s production could mean the permanent death of your Seedlings.
SEED leverages Perspective, a system that allows Seedlings to think, feel and from true emergent relationships with each other and, you, the Cultivator. Talk directly to your characters via the Seedling Chat, with every conversation having a lasting impact on the development of your Seedlings and the surrounding society.
From the smallest chair to the most complex machinery, every item in Avesta is gathered, crafted and sold by players in a completely player-driven economy. As your camp grows into a city, you must navigate the challenges of collaborative governance. Form shared societies and define your own laws, ranging from fair democracies to strict authoritarian dictatorships.
In this single-shard MMO, everyone shares the same world. Seedlings have life cycles and eventually pass away, so your decisions carry long-term weight. The relationships, conflicts and history they build with one another leave a lasting mark on Avesta, shaping the course of humanity.
