The King's Game: Through the Veil strips away perfect information and plunges the board into darkness. You see your own pieces. You see the squares they threaten. Everything else is shadow.
Every piece is hidden until your forces have eyes on it. Enemy pieces vanish back into darkness the moment you lose line of sight. The kings are always watching, everything else is a ghost until proven real.
Two game modes across three atmospheric 3D environments:
David's Duel — Standard chess rules, classical board and piece layout. Play against AI or a friend online.
The Council — A custom three royal family circular chess variant based off byzantine circle chess. Three families. One circular board. Pawn promotion is in the center of the board.
Three difficulty levels from playing as a Peasant with a cunning plan, a noble Knight, to a ruthless Emperor.
Key Features:
Full fog-of-war visibility system — see only what your pieces can see, AI operates on starting piece location assumptions and updates based on player movement, Player pieces are also concealed.
