Aaattack is a turn-based strategy card collecting battle game where cards are referred to as runes. You build and customize a bag of magical runes to take into battle against your foes. Battles are very quick-paced, but can often require a good strategy to be victorious.
Using the runes, you try to bring your opponents health to zero. Defensive Runes can thwart the enemy Aaattacks and Utility Runes can boost your own Aaattacks. Special Runes have a myriad of abilities that affect the battle. You fight through a series of lower monsters until a boss battle and each boss battle win unlocks a new region of the map, gives you more health, and awards runes. Runes can also be combined together using the RuneForge into more powerful versions.
Runes can be collected by defeating bosses or buying them with gold at the in-game store Jungold. Everyone starts with a basic set of runes and after a quick lesson from Tutortoise, the tutorial guide, you can quickly jump into battling monsters from the realm of Coliseummia.
The basic rules of the game are as such. You customize the deck (battle bag of runes) that you bring to a fight. At the start of a fight you will draw 3 random runes from your battle bag and each turn you will draw another one at the end of the turn. You get to play 1 rune per turn (some runes allow you to play more than one rune as follow ups). Your foes will also have their own customized bag of runes.
To take back the lands you must clear all foes from the map. Each region of the map has five monsters and one boss monster. With over 175 unique monsters, 30 different regions, and millions of combinations of runes to utilize, the possibilities in Aaattack are endless. Do you think you have what it takes to conquer it all?
