R.A.I.D is a VR co-op roguelite FPS set in deep space, where you serve as an ESF customs agent responsible for inspecting interstellar cargo traffic and intercepting smuggling operations.
This is a hybrid VR experience combining simulation-style inspection gameplay with fast-paced first-person shooter combat. Scan incoming space trucks, analyze cargo manifests, and decide which ships are cleared—or escalated for boarding and tactical assault.
When interception is required, you board massive procedurally generated spacecraft filled with pirates, alien threats, and valuable contraband. Fight through room-based ship interiors in intense VR combat, either solo or in up to 4-player online co-op.
Progression is driven by a roguelite structure and the ESF Ranger Rank system. Players earn credits and protocol points across repeated missions (shifts), unlocking new weapons, permanent upgrades, and milestone abilities. Weapon mods introduce explosive effects, overcharged energy shots, and experimental wormhole mechanics that alter combat encounters.
Each mission is a timed run with selectable risk levels that influence difficulty, cargo value, and rewards. Every fourth shift escalates into a large-scale boarding mission with higher enemy density, expanded ship layouts, and increased loot potential.
Built for VR immersion and simulation-style interaction, R.A.I.D uses fully diegetic systems: wrist-based health tracking, weapon-mounted ammo displays, and physical control terminals instead of traditional HUD elements.
Designed for both stationary VR gameplay and optional stick locomotion, the game supports comfortable play without reducing combat intensity.
