A gateway to Hell has opened beneath the churchyard, and the only thing standing between mankind and eternal damnation is a squad of heavily armed nuns with no intention of going quietly.
Nuns With Guns is a dark gothic top-down action roguelite where you command four battle-ready sisters defending their church from waves of demons. Position your nuns, survive the assault, upgrade their weapons, strengthen their abilities, and prepare between waves before Hell sends something bigger, uglier, and significantly less polite.
Demons pour in from below. The church stands above. Everything in between becomes a firing range.
Your church is the last line between the living world and the demonic filth crawling out of the pit.
Keep the chapel standing while waves of enemies push upward from the hellhole. Your nuns can fight, fall, revive, upgrade, and reposition, but if the church falls, the parish is finished.
No pressure. Just eternal damnation and a repair bill.
Each nun has her own colour, role, weapon setup, health, and upgrade path.
Sister Mercy — aggressive, direct, and fond of solving theology with bullets.
Sister Agnes— mystical, strange, and dangerously comfortable around forbidden relics.
Sister Joan — precise, controlled, and very good at making demons regret having legs.
Sister Ruth — heavy support, tough defence, and holy firepower with bad intentions.
Switch between sisters, keep them alive, upgrade their weapons, and build your squad into a proper little holy problem for Hell.
After each wave, enter the build phase and prepare before the next demonic assault.
Spend gold to:
Buy and equip weapons
Upgrade damage, range, fire rate, health, speed, and armour
Heal wounded nuns
Revive fallen sisters
Prepare your defence before the next wave begins
This is where you decide whether the next wave is a heroic stand or a short funeral with reload animations.
Level up during a run and choose from blessing cards that change how your squad fights.
Blessings can improve weapons, strengthen the church, protect your nuns, boost your economy, or grant cursed advantages with ugly consequences.
Examples include:
Bullets that apply holy burn
Faster reloads
Squad-wide health boosts
Emergency revives
Church damage reduction
Cursed blessings that make you stronger while making the next waves nastier
Every run gives you different choices. Some are holy. Some are stupid. Most are both.
As the assault escalates, Hell sends more than ordinary demons.
Face bosses inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, the Four Horsemen, and worse, each bringing unique attacks, pressure, and punishment. Survive long enough and the fight stops being about crowd control and starts being about whether your squad can kill a walking theological problem before it tears the church apart.
