The dead fear the light. So they wait for yours to go out.Jean's Survival is a survival game built on one brutal rule: a zombie's flesh burns the moment light touches it. By day, the infected retreat deep into the darkest corners of every building, fleeing the sun. By night, they flood the streets. You scavenge for supplies in the daylight and survive the dark by mastering the only weapon that matters — light.
☀️ Daytime — Safe Streets, Deadly Interiors
For thirty minutes of real time, the sun keeps the outdoors yours. The catch: everything you need is buried deep inside buildings, in basements and boarded-up rooms where no sunlight reaches and the infected lie waiting. Cut a path with your flashlight, tear away planks to let the daylight in, and push deeper into the dark. The further you go, the better the loot — and the greater the danger.
🌙 Nighttime — Stay Still and Ration Your Light
For ten minutes, the streets belong to the dead, and your only job is to outlast them. Light is a double-edged blade: the lantern that sears the zombies clawing at your door also drags every one of them on the block toward you. Burn what gets close, stay dark enough to go unnoticed, and hold the line until dawn.
🔦 Light Is Your Weapon
A flickering lighter only makes them flinch; a flare or a wall of flame sears them to the bone. Every light source is finite. Each battery, each drop of fuel, each flare is one more minute you get to keep breathing.
🌧️ The Weather Changes the Rules
Clear skies play by the rules. But when the clouds roll in, the sunlight weakens and the infected creep into shadows and alleys in broad daylight. On days of heavy rain or eclipse, daytime becomes just another night. Read the sky, and know when to abandon the run.
🏚️ You Are Not Alone
Other survivors are barricaded inside their homes. Answer their calls for help — clear the dead from their door, bring them what they need — and they will trade you the supplies that keep you alive. Earn their trust for better deals. Ignore them, and they may be gone by morning.
🛏️ Rest, or Raid?
Exhaustion builds, and you can only sleep somewhere safe — but those same safe daylight hours are perfect for scavenging. Spend your precious thirty minutes recovering, or risk one more trip into the dark? Every day, the choice is yours.
