
Ruins is a turn-based roguelike where you play as a scavenger descending into frozen ancient ruins. Equip your pickaxe, mine glowing crystals, fight monsters, and decide when to retreat — before the cold takes you.
Explore procedurally generated dungeons
Each run generates a new layout of rooms and corridors filled with enemies, loot, and frozen crystal formations. Delve deeper for rarer rewards, but face tougher foes with every floor.
Manage your survival
Your body heat drops as you explore the freezing ruins. Stay near bonfires to warm up, or press on and risk hypothermia. Balance your HP, body temperature, and carry weight — overload yourself with loot, and you won't make it back alive.
Fight with tactical weapon switching
Equip up to 5 weapons and switch between them on the fly. Swords, handguns, shotguns, fire bombs, smoke grenades — each enemy type has its own weakness. Learn what works and react fast.
Choose when to retreat
You can return to town at any time and keep everything you've found. Go one floor deeper for better loot, or play it safe and head home. One wrong call and you lose it all. This risk-reward decision is the heart of every run.
Build your scavenger
Choose from multiple classes, each with different starting stats and equipment. Grow your skills through use — the more you swing a sword, the better you get. Sell your haul in town, buy better gear, and prepare for the next descent.
