O.M.E.N. | Synthetic Genesis is a top-down sci-fi survival horror game about escaping the consequences of synthetic creation.
After being chosen to approve experimental creatures for a powerful government-backed corporation, the containment system fails. Safety pods shatter, the subjects escape, and the underground facility becomes a hunting ground. With no weapons and one way out, you are forced to survive the creatures you helped release.
Run, hide, observe, and move carefully through underground caves, locked corridors, and terminal-controlled security systems. Solve maze-like intelligence tests to earn keycards, avoid escaped subjects, and push closer to the exit of a facility built to hide what should never have been made.
As you search for a way out, scattered notes reveal that these creatures are not the company’s first attempt at synthetic life. The deeper you go, the more the experiment begins to look less like a failure — and more like something that was always going to happen.
Watching from somewhere beyond the facility’s systems is O.M.E.N., an impossible synthetic being with terrifying control over the world around you. At first, he seems like the thing you should fear most. But as the truth unfolds, the line between monster, machine, and human begins to break down.
You cannot fight what is hunting you. You can only try to survive long enough to understand why it was created.
