Steam-only co-op fantasy action RPG & party game built around roguelike dungeon runs, base building, and cosmetics.
(Nick's Game is a placeholder game title and will be replaced with the real title as soon as we choose a good name based on the lore and gameplay)
Play solo or with up to 3 friends, build a character, go on dungeon runs, defeat enemies & bosses, collect rewards, and return to your base to regroup, train, customize, and prepare for the next game.
Core Gameplay
The main mode is a co-op roguelike dungeon crawler for 1-4 players. A full successful run is planned around three environments, three major bosses, and a clear final victory condition.
Main game mode is a third-person action RPG that is easy to pick up but difficult to master. Enemies and bosses are designed around readable telegraphed attacks, positioning, timing, and team coordination.
Character Builds And Progression
Each dungeon run, choose a starting class and build your character over the course of the run. Adapt your build based on what loot you're receiving. Long term progression is cosmetic-based and skill-based.
Players can experiment with weapon categories, armor classes, and special abilities across runs. The goal is to master your playstyle, improve your runs, and collect cosmetics and base items across sessions.
Social Base Mode
Between runs, players can return to a personal base island with friends. The base is a social and casual mode where players can gather with friends, practice movement and abilities, show off cosmetics, decorate, and play minigames.
Planned Steam Features
Steam features include friends, invites, lobbies, voice chat, rich presence, achievements, stats, Workshop support for creator submissions, and Steam Inventory support for cosmetic items where appropriate.
Steam Workshop support is planned for cosmetic submissions and base items. Official accepted content may become part of curated base-game collections after review.
