ROUTE

ROUTE is a co-op survival game about driving a school bus across a zombie-infested world locked in endless night, one zone at a time. Loot the ruins, craft what you need, and upgrade the bus that keeps you all alive. With a crew of four, every breakdown, every wrong turn, every dead end could be your last. Find out where the ROUTE leads, if you make it that far.

WORK TOGETHER

Got each other's backs? You'll have to, the road eats lone survivors. Cover each other from huge hordes, split what little you scavenge, keep the bus running. Coordinate over proximity voice chat and divide the load, driving, fighting, scavenging, keeping each other alive.

HOME IS WHERE THE BUS IS

The bus is home, storage, armory, and your only way out. Reinforce it, repair it, mount what you scavenge, and decorate it inside and out. There's even a roof deck to build up and make your own. And because home has wheels, you never pack up to move on, your whole base rolls into the next zone with you.

DRIVE

There's no safe way through, only forward. Cross abandoned suburbs, ruined cities, choked-out highways, farms and forest backroads on your route, each with its own way of killing you. Some zones you drive straight through. Others you can't. Park the bus and continue on foot where you have to. Just don't forget where you parked.

NO WAY BUT THROUGH

The way forward is locked. To reach the next zone, you have to find the resources and items that open the gate to it. Every zone you unlock plays differently from the last, new places to explore, new threats, new things to figure out.

SURVIVE

Survival here isn't waiting it out. It's staying armed, fueled, and moving. Scavenge weapons, ammo, fuel, and the parts the bus needs, then craft the gear that gives you an edge when the horde closes in.

SURVIVING IS BETTER WITH FRIENDS

Multiplayer in ROUTE is friends-only, invite up to three other survivors through Steam to ride together, or face the road alone if you're really brave.
