
BALL BOY Simulator is a first-person lost-item exploration simulator set in a Japanese high school baseball club.
After every practice, the baseball team has a daily routine of counting all the baseballs used that day.
One day, several balls are found to be missing.
Fearing the coach's anger, the upperclassmen order the protagonist to search for them.
Unable to answer with anything but "Yes," the protagonist endures the watchful eyes of the coach and the unreasonable hierarchy of the team while searching the school grounds for the missing baseballs.
This game portrays the oppression and unreasonable treatment experienced in high school baseball clubs, based on the real-life experiences of the developer and those around them.
Whether you consider it horror is entirely up to you.
